Audit Senior

Are you an experienced Audit Senior? A leading accountancy practice in Chelmsford is seeking a Permanent Audit Senior to join their team!

In this position, you will be an integral part of a team delivering top-notch audit and assurance services to a diverse client base. Your responsibilities will encompass managing and executing audit engagements, ensuring the production of high-quality audit reports, and providing extensive guidance to junior team members.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct on-site work at clients' premises

- Execute audit assignments to the highest standards

- Supervise both audit and client teams

- Identify and meticulously document client requirements and recommendations

- Report progress of assignments to managers

- Develop suitable audit plans through a thorough understanding of key business processes

- Provide support and mentorship to junior team members

Skills and Experience:

- Possess 3-5 years of experience in an Audit Senior role within an accountancy practice

- Hold a degree in Accountancy; ACA/ACCA qualification is highly desirable

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP principles

- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
