ProTalent is working with a leading accountancy practice who are seeking an Audit Senior to join their team. This is a well-established Accountancy Practice based in Ipswich, currently expanding their Corporate and Commercial Division. We are on the hunt for a motivated Audit Senior to lead site audit teams, offering hands-on compliance and advisory services that not only meet but exceed client expectations.

**Your Responsibilities:**

**Audit:**

- Develop comprehensive audit plans that align with objectives.

- Lead discussions on audit strategy and risk assessment.

- Oversee all facets of audit fieldwork and completion.

- Ensure planned audit work fulfils objectives and standards.

- Prepare audit documentation and financial statement drafts.

- Delegate tasks to audit team members, providing necessary training.

- Address and advance conclusions on technical and audit issues.

**Client Relations:**

- Maintain current understanding of clients' businesses.

- Foster positive working relationships with client staff.

- Identify opportunities to offer additional services.

**Task Management:**

- Uphold the firm's professional duties and achieve deadlines.

- Manage workload effectively and communicate with superiors.

**Desirable Qualifications and Experience:**

- ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.

- Experience with external client interaction.

- Significant background in professional accountancy practice.

- Proficiency in Microsoft packages and audit software.

- Ability to adapt swiftly to changing priorities.

- Portfolio management experience and coaching skills.
