Job Purpose

  • Manage your own portfolio of clients, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met.
  • Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, including field work.
  • Manage accounts preparation under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A, and FRS 105.
  • Preparation of consolidated Group accounts, corporation tax returns, and supporting with financial and tax due diligence projects.
  • Mentor staff by reviewing work with constructive feedback and driving training and development opportunities.
  • Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships as the main point of contact.
  • Liaise with HMRC and other external contacts, proactively handling queries.
  • Work closely with senior managers to provide the highest standard of service.
  • Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
  • Champion your own professional development, scoping training opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • ACCA or ACA qualified with three years post qualification experience.
  • First time passes are desirable but not essential.
  • A strong skillset across accountancy, including corporate tax.
  • Able to work autonomously whilst delivering a high standard of service.
  • Highly organised and able to manage own workload.
  • Self-motivated and reliable.
