Audit Semi Senior

Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a growing firm of Accountants who are seeking Audit Semi Seniors to join them at their Solihull Head Office.

The Role:
As an integral member of our team, you will:

• Work closely with owner-managed businesses, including sole traders, companies, and partnerships of all sizes.
• Engage with clients to gain a deep understanding of their businesses.
• Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments under manager/partner supervision, identifying risk areas along the way.
• Prepare financial statements and corporation tax computations for review by the tax department.
• Assist junior team members, ensuring audit objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with both internal and external audit requirements.
• Enjoy fully expensed out-of-office assignments.
• Your role will be primarily audit-based (approximately 75%), with some accounts-based tasks (approximately 25%).

Skills Required:
We are looking for candidates who possess:

• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• A professional and organised approach to work.
• Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ideal Candidate:
Ideally, you will:

• Be ACCA qualified or nearing qualification (including completion of your audit paper).
• Have previous experience in handling large accounts assignments.
• Possess a full driving license and have access to your own vehicle.
