Role: Audit Semi Senior/Senior

Type: Permanent - 37.5 hours per week

Location: Birmingham

Working pattern: Hybrid working (3 days in office & 2 days WFH)

As an Audit Semi Senior/Senior, you will be integral in executing audit engagements from inception to conclusion, guided by experienced managers and partners. You will enjoy a breadth of experience across various industries and sectors, actively engaging in diverse assignments. This position calls for proactive engagement, superior communication skills, and a steadfast commitment to upholding the highest standards of audit quality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute audit assignments autonomously from inception to finalisation.
  • Prepare financial statements adhering to relevant accounting standards.
  • Identify and articulate audit findings to managerial and partner levels.
  • Aid in overseeing and mentoring junior audit personnel.
  • Stay updated on auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships to grasp their business and audit needs.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience in a UK Practice environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with accounting and auditing standards.
  • A steadfast commitment to continuous professional development.
