A global multi-disciplinary top 20 Accountancy firm with 5 locations in London & the Southeast who have been around for over 100 years are looking for an Audit Partner due to their continued and significant growth.

Sitting in their General Practice team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio of predominantly privately owned businesses, where you will be tasked with signing off audits, liaising closely with clients on a range of issues as well as making sure the General Practice Audit team is running as smoothly as possible.

The firm has experienced rapid expansion over the last two years and the successful applicant will be put on an equity path that will come to fruition relatively quickly.

Audit Partner responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all audit assignments comply with UK Accounting Standards
  • Signing off all audits
  • Presiding over final audit presentations and closing meetings with clients
  • Setting appraisals and objectives with staff members
  • Overseeing recruitment with an emphasis on senior hires
  • Promoting other services lines within the firm and be responsible for business development and pitches
  • Responsible for a broad portfolio of clients, including owner managed businesses and private equity backed firms

As an Audit Partner, having RI status is essential.
