Job purpose

  • Audit Leadership: Take the lead in planning, executing, and completing audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients. Ensure compliance with audit standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Client Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their business needs, provide valuable insights, and offer strategic advice to enhance their financial performance.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide audit teams, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Provide technical expertise, training, and support to team members.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the audit practice’s strategic plans. Identify opportunities for business development and revenue growth. Quality Assurance: Uphold high-quality standards in audit methodologies, documentation, and reporting. Ensure adherence to professional ethics and standards.
  • Business Development: Actively participate in business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and networking events. Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

The successful candidate

  • FCCA, ACA, or ACCA qualified.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading an Audit team.
  • Technically proficient with close attention to detail.
  • A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in winning and developing new and established clients.
  • Practicing certificate would be advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to produce work in a timely manner.
  • A strategic, creative, and analytical thinker.
  • A strong relationship builder with the ability to develop new business opportunities.
