If so, we have an excellent Audit Manager opportunity available for you with a Top 25 Firm in Letchworth. This is your chance to join a dynamic team in a rapidly expanding department, providing the highest quality external audit services to a diverse clientele in the SME sector.

What will your role involve?

  • Collaborate with the Head of Audit to lead the department, ensuring high-quality audits for SME sector clients.
  • Receive support from the broader audit team for on-site work and report to the Responsible Individuals (Ris) in the department.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, becoming the trusted point of contact, managing client expectations, overseeing audits, and leading our team to deliver excellence.
  • Contribute to team development and serve as a role model.
  • Conduct file reviews for a variety of audit clients, applying your existing technical expertise and experience while enhancing your skills and upholding quality standards.
  • Identify and provide additional value-added services to help clients prosper.

What experience will you have?

Are you ready for a challenge? Their expanding audit department has ambitious plans for the future. To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' post-qualified experience in a medium-sized practice working with SMEs.
  • ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • Supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge, including UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISA's.
  • A passion for building relationships.
  • Tech-savvy, with knowledge of CCH being advantageous.
  • Proactive approach to tasks of any size.
  • Motivation for a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm to immerse yourself in our culture and business.
