Audit Manager

AJ Chambers are partnered with a Top 25 Accounting firm in Central London currently hiring for an Audit Manager to support their growth.

Reporting directly to a Partner, the role will have a split between audit and non-audit assignments (management accounting, accounting, corporate tax and private client work). The audit client base is varied and includes FCA regulated clients, property investment companies, commodities traders, charities, Barristers’ chambers, solicitors, and media clients.

What’s required of you?

  • ACA / ACCA Qualified
  • 2 years post-qualification experience
  • You have developed good client liaison skills in different sectors, maintaining and developing the strong relationships which are key to the group’s growth
  • Up to date with current auditing and accounting issues and conversant with relevant auditing and accounting standards (FRS102 and IFRS), company law etc
  • Good tax knowledge, in particular corporation tax. A good awareness of VAT and payroll taxes
  • Show initiative, exercise judgement and take ownership of issues from start to finish
  • Experience of working on a wide range of clients (some FCA experience would be beneficial)
  • Ideally knowledge of CCH and Proaudit
