Audit Manager | £70,000 | Central London | Top 30 Firm

AJ Chambers Recruitment are partnered with a well-established Accounting firm based in the City of London ranked in the Top 30 who are hiring for an Audit Manager to support their growing department.

In this role you will be reporting directly to a Partner and will have a large amount of autonomy in addition to the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio made up of a broad range of clients in a variety of industries.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing support for a Partner and their portfolio
  • Reviewing files prepared for you by the audit team for the Partner
  • Planning work to meet budgets and recovering fees
  • Coordinate team activities to assure that deadlines and objectives are achieved in line with firm standards
  • Train/mentor team members
  • Prepare performance reviews at completion of reviews
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients

What is required of you?

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE
  • Strong external audit experience of small and medium sized enterprises under UK GAAP
  • Excellent understanding of FRS 102 is essential, and IFRS (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
  • Ideally knowledge of Caseware and Alphatax
