Job Purpose

• Strategic oversight of the firm's audit provision, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
• Oversee a team of experienced audit staff, including managing workflow, reviewing work with constructive feedback, and plugging knowledge gaps with training opportunities.
• Support the firm's growth by securing new business, recruiting, and training new staff and being involved with all strategic decision making.
• Lead target setting, as well as forecasting and reporting on department budgeting.
• Professionally represent the firm during networking opportunities, confidently scoping new business opportunities.
• Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.

Job Requirements

• ACCA/ACA qualified with extensive experience of managing a diverse audit portfolio.
• Confident to represent the firm within new networks to secure new business.
• Previous leadership experience at a senior level, with a positive and constructive attitude.
• Strategically minded in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency.
• Effective communication skills are essential, both verbal and written.
• Friendly, approachable, and driven.
• Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
