My client is a privately owned firm of accountants who are dedicated to delivering exceptional audit and advisory services to their clients. They are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our audit team as an Audit Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with experienced auditors to perform financial audits, evaluate internal controls, and provide valuable insights to our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch their career in auditing and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and conducting financial audits in accordance with auditing standards and regulations.
  • Perform tests of controls and substantive audit procedures to assess the accuracy of financial statements.
  • Document audit findings and communicate results to senior auditors and management.
  • Assist in preparing audit reports and recommendations for improving internal controls and processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure audit engagements are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to auditing.
  • Provide administrative support to the audit team as needed.
