A client of ours, a well-known Top 10 firm based in London is growing their corporate audit team by recruiting for Assistant Managers who are either newly, or recently qualified.
You will be part of a team that are focused towards providing a top quality service to their clients and that are progressive, forward-thinking team. There will be an opportunity to quickly progress to the next level, where you will take on your own client portfolio, this could be in as little as 6 months.
Details of the role
- Involved in all parts of the audit, from planning through to completion
- Supervision of juniors in the team
- Leading audits, including smaller audits by yourself and larger ones as part of a wider team
- Performing audits in accordance with IFRS, FRS 102 and FRS 101 standards
- Start being involved in the closing meetings with the client
- Learning from the senior Partners within the firm
- Working on a mixed portfolio, from OMBs & SME's, to larger listed clients
What you'll need to succeed
- You will be a fully qualified Accountant, either ACA or ACCA (or equivalent)
- Ideally coming from an audit heavy background
- Beneficial if you already have IFRS exposure (not essential)
- Excellent communication skills - able to relay information and training to junior members of the team
- Have worked on a mixed client portfolio previously
- Have a progressive mindset, be keen to challenge yourself
