Audit Assistant Manager - Audit, Accounting, Assurance

Accountancy Practice

My client are a leading tax, accountancy and business advisory firm, they have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Assistant Manager to join their ever growing Audit team!

Location: London

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Be a key part of Assurance teams undertaking assignments, including opportunities to lead the on-site element of the work
  • Contribute to internal and external quality assurance
  • Provide adequate briefing, supervision, and "on the job" training for junior team members
  • Review work completed by junior members of the team
  • Ensure Assurance quality at all times
  • Work closely with Audit Managers
  • Ensure each assignment is undertaken in accordance with the pre-assignment instructions
  • Act as day to day point of contact for the client
  • Attend staff meetings and training

Qualifications/Experience

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified (Essential)
  • Experience within a Top 100 accountancy firm (Essential)
  • Knowledge of IFRS (Desirable)
  • Have good working knowledge of UK GAAP
