I am actively recruiting an Audit Senior for a well-established multi office accountancy practice based in Central London. The firm is home to around 8 Partners and 100 staff, with the London audit team currently 15 strong and growing.

The ideal candidate will be towards the end of their ACA or ACCA or fully qualified or qualified by experience, with a number of years UK practice experience. Experience of working with cross sector OMB/SME clients, as well as being able to work effectively in a team environment remotely.

The Audit Senior role:

  • Reporting to Manager and Partner level
  • Split of work is 80% audit and 20% accounts
  • Supervising the audit process on site from planning to completion, supervising, supporting and developing junior members of staff.
  • Preparation of audited and non-audited accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies, Trusts and Charities
  • Preparation income tax and corporation tax returns
  • Ad-hoc duties of general accounting, due diligence, investigation, and taxation matters

What will you need to be successful in this role:

  • ACA or ACCA Qualified or Finalists
  • Previous experience in an audit role in a UK accountancy practice
  • Cross sectors OMB/SME client exposure from a medium sized or strong independent UK based accountancy practice
