REED Practice are recruiting for an established accountancy practice seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team.

This role will offer a large amount of flexibility allowing you to work in the office or fully remote with only two days in the office per month required! Client visits may require you to visit the office or the clients premises. 

Job Details

  • Salary  - circa £55,000
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Annual leave – 30 days including bank holidays and 2 duvet days
  • Private Healthcare 
  • Pension – employees pay a minimum of 5% and the company will pay 3%
  • Annual company trip
  • Hours – 37.5 hours per week
  • Software –  CCH, CaseWare ,Sage and Xero 

Duties ( not limited to)

  •  75/25 split between Audit and Accounts work.
  • Assisting the Senior Managers with the planning of audits and completion of the detailed audit testing.
  • Producing financial statements and drafting Corporation tax computations, which may include completing accounts from a trial balance provided by the clients or finalising accounts where the groundwork has been completed by other members of the team.
  • Submitting approved Accounts and Corporation tax returns.
  • Preparing and submitting Self Assessment tax returns.
  • Delegating work to their outsourced team in India and reviewing their completed work.
  • Management of some monthly bookkeeping and management account assignments with the objective of providing completed monthly management accounts to the Senior Managers for their review and meeting with the client.
