About the Role:

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Join us as an Audit/Accounts Senior at Hallidays in Stockport. In this role, you will work within a well-established team, providing high-quality accounting and financial services to our diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Audit/Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a dynamic portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
  • Preparation and submission of year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements with precision and efficiency.
  • Reconciling client accounting records via Excel or accounting software.
  • Overseeing client payroll on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
  • Preparation and submission of monthly CIS returns.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Utilising your expertise in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to streamline processes and enhance client experiences.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualification as an Accountant with a proven track record in General Practice.
  • Experience in managing and/or mentoring junior members of a practice team, with a focus on driving results and exceeding expectations.
  • Proficiency in navigating professional regulations and best practices, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact.
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, and adaptability to evolving business requirements.
