Manager - Audit, Accounting, Advisory

Exciting opportunity to become a key member of an audit, accounting, and advisory team as a Manager.

Ideal for someone with significant audit experience, eager to manage client portfolios, and contribute to technical development within the team.

What the Role Involves:

  • Trusted adviser providing excellent service to corporate clients, with a focus on statutory audits.
  • Work based in Lancashire, Greater Manchester, and occasionally from home.
  • Client interaction from day one, collaborating closely with corporate tax colleagues.
  • Reporting to directors and partners, ensuring high-quality audit and accounts files.
  • Preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with FRS standards.
  • Contribution to departmental efficiency and identifying training needs.
  • Responsible for client budgeting, invoicing, and software updates.

  • Passionate about providing great client service with a genuine interest in our clients.
  • Great at communicating with people at all levels.
  • Positive, emotionally aware and resilient.
  • Good at using your initiative, solving problems and working under pressure.
  • Motivated and well organised.
  • A good networker.
  • Have good organisational skills as well as the ability to take initiative and contribute to the effective running of the department.
