Description

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

MUST HAVE UK DRIVING LICENSE

To help manage the AV service and ensure the delivery of a high quality and integrated events management service - managing all AV, technical, maintenance and equipment needs for events and functions such as webcasting, etc.

To provide a first class customer facing service to clients within the schools, council-run sites and to support the overall smooth running of conferences and events.

To assist the AV Manager with the conflicting demands of the council building and offsite jobs, to ensure smooth running of meetings, such as the set up of AV equipment both on and offsite.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. To ensure that all service users, clients and colleagues receive high quality services and expert support.
  2. To attend All Comms Meeting and Events Team Meeting bi monthly. To contribute to the design of events and inform the events brief.
  3. To utilise AV expertise and knowledge to assist with all internal and external events for the council at Hounslow House and offsite, offering advice to heads of service to deliver high profile meetings and conferences.
  4. To work collaboratively with wider teams and as a team member within the wider events team.
  5. To support the planning and preparation of the AV workload, ensuring the AV Team is kept up to date with all operational tasks, activities, meetings, events briefs and the team is scheduled to tasks in a timely manner.
  6. To undertake minor repairs of electronic equipment, safety & PAT testing, maintaining technical equipment as and when required.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of effectively working within an Audio Visual function
  • Experience of audio visual equipment & installation
  • Experience of hybrid meetings, virtual meetings & webcasting
  • Experience of developing and delivering services to customers
  • Full UK driving license
