Pay rate: £220.00 - £240.00 paid via umbrella or limited company

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Audio-Visual Service/break fix Engineer to work on an ad-hoc basis for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for providing timely and efficient support for our clients AV systems, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues that may arise. You will be comfortable with performing Health Checks on AV equipment and suggesting solutions.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and transportation.
  • Respond to service calls from clients regarding issues with their AV systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems with AV equipment, including but not limited to projectors, displays, audio systems, control systems (e.g., Crestron), and video conferencing systems (e.g., Cisco).
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with clients to schedule service appointments and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Document all service activities, including troubleshooting steps taken and solutions implemented.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of AV equipment.
    Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
