Attendance Officer and Administrator

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate attendance records for students, ensuring compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Implement strategies to improve attendance rates and reduce persistent absence, working closely with students, parents, and external agencies.
- Provide administrative support to the school office, including answering telephone calls, responding to emails, and managing student records.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and senior leadership to identify and address attendance-related issues, contributing to a culture of achievement and success.
- Assist with the coordination of school events, such as parent evenings and open days, to promote engagement and involvement within the school community.
- Support the implementation of safeguarding procedures, prioritising the welfare and well-being of students at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive and approachable attitude.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
