Our client in the Uxbridge areas is seeking an Attendance Co-ordinator to join them on a temporary basis.

This is a part time position working 8.30am - 2.30pm 3 days a week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday)

This is a critical role in managing student attendance and punctuality within a designated School. The successful candidate will maintain a high profile within the School, liaising closely with both students and staff, and will be responsible for maintaining accurate records to monitor student attendance and behaviour.

Duties will include but not be limited to.

  • Undertake attendance and punctuality checks, providing regular reports to the Head of School.
  • Work closely with School management to devise and implement effective attendance strategies.
  • Engage with individual students and groups to promote a positive ethos and high expectations.
  • Maintain efficient database management for accurate record-keeping and register maintenance.
  • Identify “at risk” students and groups, closely monitoring and guiding their attendance and punctuality.
  • Liaise with internal and external agencies to provide comprehensive support to students.
  • Assist in managing information concerning student behaviour and participate in disciplinary processes as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong IT skills for database management and record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents/guardians, and staff.
  • Ability to devise and implement strategies to improve student attendance and achievement.
  • Experience in liaising with various agencies for student support.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of attendance and punctuality.
  • Enhanced DBS
