A specialist organisation offers an interesting opportunity to an Assurance specialist, ideally from the Agriculture or Horticulture sector.

Your new role
You will be responsible for managing the assurance scheme and also updating and developing the standards on an ongoing basis.
You will spend time liaising with retailers and members to update on changes to the scheme and promote it.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and maintaining a product roadmap for the scheme as well as the day-to-day management of the scheme. The role will act as the SME for members and will collaborate and engage with various internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness, knowledge and uptake of the scheme, including representing and promoting the scheme at industry events.

What you'll need to succeed
You could come from a variety of backgrounds to be successful in this role -such as managing an assurance scheme in the horticulture or agriculture sectors, or being an third party certification specialist or self-employed auditor in this field.
You will be self-motivated, have an eye for detail and accuracy and good organisational, administrative and communication skills.
You will be comfortable engaging with and building positive relationships with colleagues, members and external stakeholders.
There is an element of travel within the UK in this role, though this is not excessive.

What you'll get in return
Hybrid working - After the initial settling in period and learning curve, this role will become more flexible - settling at 2 days a week in the office and 3 from home, with some time spent visiting external stakeholders in the UK.
Salary £30-40000
