The Opportunity
Our client is looking for an ambitious Associate/Partner level building surveyor to join a growing Newcastle team and develop a Project and Building Consultancy offering in the region, serving Northumbria, Yorkshire and Cumbria.

The role will be based in Newcastle and ideally bring strong connections in the Newcastle market and suit someone that is experienced working across a number of small and large projects at any one time.

There will be a strong emphasis on core traditional building surveying duties across multiple sectors, including a full range of professional work on a variety of client accounts across both commercial and residential property. 

The role provides a real opportunity for an ambitious surveyor to ‘make their mark’ and shape the future of the team at an early stage, with unrestricted opportunity for the right team member.

About you
  • MRICS + experience PQE
  • Prior experience in a multi-disciplinary firm
  • Excellent business development skills and key client contacts
  • Demonstrable record of exceptional delivery and track record in building consultancy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical and complex subjects clearly and concisely to clients
  • Good presentation skills and experience of being directly client facing
  • Ability to work as part of a very client focused team
  • Excellent technical competence across the full range of building consultancy service lines
