Associate Mechanical Engineer

This is the exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate Mechanical Engineer to join a multidisciplined MEP consultancy who provide a holistic approach to the built environment. The successful candidate will join the team in Brighton and lead on a range of projects across all sectors.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Manage the mechanical engineering team and help provide technical solutions for projects
  • Work alongside existing client as well as bring in new business opportunities through referrals
  • Mentor the more junior members of the team and help develop their careers
  • Take the lead on sustainable and mechanical strategies for projects as well as ensuring the design of these projects meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Either working towards or have already achieved CIBSE chartership
  • Educational background within a Mechanical or Building Services Engineering field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a relevant role and the building services industry
  • Experience in taking the lead on multi-discipline projects as well as providing your expertise to an engineering team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
