Associate Fire Engineer

A progressive company is actively seeking an Associate Fire Engineer to enhance their growing team. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with the Head of Fire Engineering, focusing on driving business development, expanding client relations, and enriching the project portfolio.

The Associate Fire Engineer will manage a variety of complex, large-scale Fire Engineering projects while leading a dynamic team that includes Senior Fire Engineers, Fire Engineers, and Graduate Fire Engineers. This role permits remote working, offering a flexible approach to project management and team leadership.

The role encompasses the management of complex and sizeable Fire Engineering projects and the leadership of a varied team, including Senior Fire Engineers, Fire Engineers, and Graduate Fire Engineers, all while operating from a remote capacity.

With a project portfolio spanning the commercial and residential sectors, the role necessitates exemplary client relationship management abilities and concerted efforts with the team to conduct fire risk assessments, FRAEWs (both intrusive and non-intrusive surveys), and peer reviews.

The Associate Fire Engineer

• Requires a minimum of 4 years' experience in Fire Engineering.
• Holds an Engineering degree, whether MEng or MSC.
• Is either a Chartered Engineer or is actively working towards achieving Chartered status.
• Is skilled in utilizing PAS9980:2022.
• Has experience dealing with EWS1 forms.
• Demonstrates an exceptional capability to foster and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and diverse partners.
