Title: Associate Finance Business Partner

Salary: £35,000p/a - £45,000p/a + study support

Location: Holborn (hybrid 1-2 days p/week)

Type: Perm

A fantastic opportunity to work as an Associate Finance Business Partner has come up at an industry leading transport company. Based out of Central London (hybrid) this role is a new position to join the commercial finance team working on new bids and exiting bids analysis.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the commercial team structuring bids and tenders for upcoming projects
• Support with the definition of the financial strategy of one of the key business areas

• Provide support with delivering the required elements of Pre-Selection Questionnaires, Expressions of Interest and Requests for Proposals

• Analyse the Business-as-Usual case for the target operation
• Identify risks and opportunities for the target operation
• Contribute to the robustness of the bid plan by providing financial advice
• Assist in the identification and exploitation of financial opportunities
• Prepare timely and accurate financial and commercial information to develop the bid price
• Develop business cases and provide insight and challenge to bid-winning initiatives
• Author and review bid documents ensuring that the content is compelling and accurate
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance bidding process

Experience/Skills

• Proven problem-solving abilities - Essential
• A degree ideally in STEM
• Minimum 2 years experience in accounting or financial analysis - Essential
• Someone looking to study or studying CIMA, ACCA or ACA - Essential
