A position has arisen for an Associate Director of Facilities within a highly regarded organisation based within Gloucestershire. This is a key role managing and overseeing Facilities services/contracts for a 3 month temporary- permanent placement.
The successful candidate must have previous experience managing Facilities operations and teams in a similar role, within a public sector environment.
Your duties will include:
- Managing performance and ensuring that all facilities services can meet all activity, financial, budget and service level target
- Working with the Senior Leadership Team to manage the commercial reviews and legal aspects of outsourced contracts that sit under facilities
- Leading and developing a new helpdesk including switchboard facility
- Leading delivery of the Facilities Service elements of the five-year business plan, demonstrating commercial focus
- Participating in the development and maintenance of effective, timely and accurate performance management processes and systems
- Planning and identifying future resource requirements for the services managed to enable services to be delivered that match the business needs
- Ensuring statutory Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times across the site
The successful candidate should have:
- Previous experience working within a public sector organisation at a senior level within facilities/soft FM
- You must be educated to degree level in an Estates/property/ facilities management subject area or have equivalent level of experience
- You must have proven experience of budget setting
