This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director in Facilities Management who is looking to utilise their skills in the Property industry. The role is based in Birmingham city centre and offers the chance to be part of a busy and successful team.

Client Details

Our client is a highly respected multi-disciplinary property consultancy who are looking for an Associate Director to head up their FM division. They have a strong client base with some reputable, well known organisations and some exciting key accounts to be managed in the FM division.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing some key accounts within the FM team for clients based nationwide. You will oversee the delivery of hard / soft services for their portfolio of properties across a number of industry sectors.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To direct and manage planned & reactive maintenance, repairs, inspections and services of property
  • To direct, manage and audit statutory compliance of the properties
  • Procurement of external FM contractors
  • Manage CAPEX projects
  • Establish and maintain records / documentation through an electronic filing system
  • Manage a small FM team / helpdesk
  • Prepare & manage service charge budgets
  • Identify areas for business development and securing new revenue streams
  • Establish and monitor KPI's / SLA's

Profile

  • Experience in a similar role within a Managing Agent is essential
  • FM experience across a variety of sectors
  • Excellent knowledge of compliance / regulations
  • IWFM accreditation or working towards
  • IOSH / NEBSOH certification
  • Experience creating and managing service charge budgets
  • Client facing

Job Offer

  • £50,000 - 55,000 (negotiable)
  • Car Allowance (£6,800)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Company pension contribution
  • Opportunity to progress to Partner level
