Your Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day management of the team, offering support and challenge to ensure the delivery of high-quality services for the welfare of children and young people.
- Manage the distribution of caseloads, ensuring appropriate responses to child or young person's needs, and support the team in assessments, plans, and toolkits, with a focus on evaluating risks and recording decisions.
- Chair core groups and Child in Need (CIN) meetings to a high standard, supporting social workers in additional meetings as required, ensuring effective communication and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
- Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being
- Post-qualified experience ideally across Assessment and/or Child protection
- Clear, Enhanced DBS
- Full, clear driving license
