Your new firm
Your new firm are a well known and established Top 20 accountancy firm who operate across multiple locations across the UK. The Manchester office has gone from strength to strength, almost doubling its headcount in the last 5 years. They are centrally based in Manchester in very attractive, modern, open plan offices operating on a hybrid working model in both office and home. The firm itself operate across a variety of service lines including accounts, audit, tax, corporate finance and transaction services to name a few. You will not only be joining the Manchester office, but a national team of 60 employees who operate across 5 offices across the UK.

Your new role

In your new role you will be joining a national Top 20 practice, working within a specialist tax group which supports a range of clients across the full UK. You will be delivering high quality compliance and advisory services to HNWIs, property owners, business owners, partnerships and trusts. You will manage your own portfolio of clients, whilst also reviewing the work of more junior staff members. The work itself will consist of self assessment tax returns, tax computations, Capital gains calculations, IHT planning, estates planning and any other tax duties associated with private client tax. You will be reporting directly to the group the tax manager and have plenty of responsibility in the delivery of work.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to come from a strong tax background, having a number of years experience working on private client tax. Ideally you will worked on both compliance and advisory for the clients like HNWIs, Directors and business owners. You need to be ideally CTA qualified or working towards.
