We are a privately owned care and supported housing provider and the projects will be situated across Lewisham and Croydon – throughout South East London.

We are a progressive provider with a clear vision, strong leadership and ambitious growth plans. This would be a great move for someone with drive and passion – you could have considerable experience as a Foreman or currently work in a similar role specialising in refurbishments.

Main Responsibilities:

·        Working closely with the Senior Management Team to fully understand the requirements of each project and drive them to completion.

·        Drive a culture of continuous improvement, proactively identifying risks and opportunities for better efficiencies throughout the project cycle.

·        Manage health, safety, environmental and quality ensuring legal compliance and adherence to company standards.

·        Regularly report on progress, detailing any issues or delays and action taken to rectify.

·        Full refurbishment of current and new properties with a team of skilled and unskilled labour.

·        Ensure all incidents and accident reports are completed within the allotted timescales and all actions recorded and assigned.

·        Ensure projects are completed on time and are on budget.

About you:

·        Demonstrable experience of working on projects to strip back and refurbish properties to a compliant and quality finish.

·        Willing to roll your sleeves up and show the team how things can be completed to a high standard – lead by example!

·        A track record of managing developments to completion.

·        Possess a strong background in building and refurbishment.

·        Utilise your commercial judgment and experience to balance risk, resolve conflicts, and find solutions that support long-term business benefits.

·        Experience and knowledge of Building Regulations, Building Act, Town& Country Planning, Health & Safety and Disability Discrimination Act requirements.

·        Full understanding of construction drawings and be able to show and explain this information to others to ensure the spec is followed correctly.

·        You should be familiar and have a working knowledge of systems to track all tasks and updates with regard to each project you are responsible for.

·        Have drive and motivation to achieve the desired result and be a firm but fair leader to get the best out of your teams.

·        IT skills are a must – Microsoft Office – Word, emails and our task management system which is called Asana would be a great benefit.

·        You would need to be a driver with your own car – mileage will be paid through expenses.

 What we offer:

·        Working with a dynamic, well-established and driven team where you will be rewarded for results.

·        Highly Competitive Salary

·        Bonuses based on project completion.

·        20 Days holiday plus bank holidays

·        Contributory Pension Scheme
