Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a well-established building contractor based in Rainham, Essex who are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join them on a full time, permanent basis. They focus on a large variety of aspects of Building Works, which includes the Repair, Redecorations, Commercial/Residential Refurbishment and Fit Out of Offices and more.

The ideal candidate will hold or be studying towards a construction related Degree, HNC or HND qualification. They will need to be very motivated to learn the full commercial process of construction projects with the extensive support and training of the team there.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

• Management of procurement and sub-contract packages.
• Working on the commercial side of the project which would include estimation, QS work, procurement and contracts management duties.
• Working on refurbishment and fit out projects across the London area based from their Rainham office.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

• Construction related Degree, HNC or HND qualification
• Ideally 1-2 years of prior quantity surveying experience (Not essential)
• Local to the Rainham area or to live withing commuting distance
• Strong, motivated attitude

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Position Remuneration

• Salary: £25k - £40k (DOE - Guide only)
• Car allowance / company car (Can be discussed)
• Further benefits to be discussed at interview stage
