City & Capital are currently representing a highly successful and high end boutique property management company who have retained our services to appoint an ambitious, hardworking and proactive Assistant Property Manager to their growing team, at an exciting time.

Our client owns and operates a portfolio of prime and super prime properties in the heart of London, designed to support a high net and ultra-high net worth client base, meaning there is high demand for excellent quality and service.

The company has active plans to grow this portfolio substantially over the period ahead and in advance of this, are focussing on making a number of key hires across the team who will support all property management requirements for new and existing assets within the portfolio.

A key hire they are looking to make is for an Assistant Property Manager who will work closely with the Senior Property Manager’s and Head of Property on key projects pertaining to the expanding property portfolio.

This is a diverse role where you can expect to be involved in a range of projects and challenges across all areas of property management and at each stage of the property life cycle. Due to this, you can expect to develop quickly within as you learn and grow your property management skills in key areas.

The core duties of the role will include (but may not be limited to):

  • Ensuring compliance to relevant regulations at all times
  • Communicating the needs of clients to the maintenance and administrative teams
  • Monitoring and auditing schedules of work
  • Quality control on all key property projects
  • Main point of contact for tenants, landlords, investors and contractors
  • Maintaining existing properties that are residential, semi commercial or commercial
  • Assistance with new client onboarding
  • Assisting with possession or properties
  • Attending property valuations
  • Arranging and administrating property visits
  • Project management of schedules of work
  • Support maintenance and administrative requirements, where requested

Due to the above, the ideal individual will be a genuine team player, happy to roll up your sleeves to tackle any task that can support the business, or the needs of its high net worth clientele. You will be happy when working in a fast paced and dynamic environment and will appreciate that high net worth property management is (at times) not a 9-5 job!

You will be proactive in your working style with the required flexibility to react to the changing needs of clients, as and when needed. You will be extremely well presented and someone who takes pride in their work and delivery. You will be confident and comfortable working in a fast paced and growing environment and will be at your best when working towards tight deadlines and high standards.

The ideal candidate will…

  • Demonstrate a minimum of 1 years’ experience in property management
  • Have a good technical background to understand the maintenance aspects of the role
  • Have some experience of property costings, purchasing and working with budgets
  • Display excellent organisation skills/capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Show a good sense of prioritisation to tackle the right tasks, first
  • Take a proactive approach to work, quick to spot threats & opportunities & to address them
  • Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a full, clean UK driving license

Our client are ideally looking to pay up to c£45k as a basic salary for the ideal individual relevant to experience, as you would expect. Higher offers may also be considered for exceptional experience and talent. Salary is also complemented by an excellent bonus potential too, which helps to drive annual earnings significantly, year on year.

Most notably for those that are ambitious and keen to really push their career forward in high end property, this is a role that comes with plenty of opportunity to progress internally.

Our client operates a very strong & proven promote from within policy which has been a huge factor in their growth & success to date, so as the portfolio & team continues to grow, opportunities to propel both your career standing & earnings within may be prevalent, where excellent performance is delivered.

This role will be based in our clients HQ in central London. This is critical due to the locations of the property portfolio & the highly collaborative nature of the team. Due to the nature of who our client is and the exciting circumstances around growth and future opportunity, we do not expect this role to be on the market for long!

Therefore if this does look of interest and you feel suitably qualified to achieve in the role then we would welcome your application at the earliest opportunity. Our client is keen to make this appointment as soon as possible in line with growing demands and growth plans outlined.

Once received we will be able to review your application and once reviewed we will get back to you.

Should you be successful in your application we will then be in touch to discuss the opportunity in more detail in order to agree the way forward.

We look forward to your application.

Kind regards,
