Overview: As the Assistant Park Manager at Ream Hills Holiday Park, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations, encompassing a diverse range of responsibilities. Reporting directly to the owners you will provide exemplary customer service, drive the lettings of our luxury accommodations, organise bookings for on-site lettings, and manage health and safety paperwork. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced assistant manager with strong sales skills.

Key Responsibilities: (not exhaustive)

  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day park operations, ensuring efficiency in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Grounds and Property: Ensure the high standards of our park surroundings and homes are maintained to a high standard and ensuring the grounds team complete the necessary tasks.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring guests have a memorable stay.
  • Sales Expertise: Utilise experience to promote and rent luxury accommodations to both existing and new customers.
  • Booking Management: Organise and coordinate on-site rentals, ensuring smooth processes for guest bookings.
  • Communication Skills: Be a confident communicator, maintaining open lines of communication with the team and guests.
  • Pressure Management: Demonstrate composure under pressure, efficiently handling operational challenges.
  • Organisational Skills: Exhibit strong organisational skills, managing workloads effectively and organising on-site bookings.
  • Health and Safety: Manage health and safety paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulations and creating a secure environment.
  • IT Proficiency: Possess excellent IT skills, adapting quickly to Microsoft and bespoke software packages.
  • Driving Capability: Hold a full, preferably clean, driving license to facilitate mobility within the park.

Skills, Experience, and Qualities Required:

  • Proven experience in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Essential sales experience, demonstrating a flair for selling luxury caravans and lodges.
  • Ability to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Positive attitude and collaborative team player.
  • Effective and confident communication skills.
  • Capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills, managing workloads efficiently and organising on-site bookings.
  • Health and safety paperwork management experience.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft and bespoke software.
  • Full, preferably clean, driving license.

Daily tasks:

  • Helping to manage the day to day running of the Holiday Park, also delegating and managing staff members
  • Managing our industrial property portfolio; Monthly payments, Lettings, Leasing with tenants and our commercial letting agency & solicitors
  • Accounts managing for both companies & leasing with book keepers
  • Managing on site installations such as: BT Fibre broadband etc...
  • Managing integrations and various third party booking systems such as Hoseasons, Airbnb, Booking.com.
  • Actively monitoring and reassessing our marketing strategies, campaigns and pricing. Analysing data to ascertain our strongest sources of income and consumer trends.
  • Ensuring all health and safety requirements are in place and up to date.
  • Accounts payable/receivable for all companies.
  • Managing and negotiating energy contracts across all sites. Currently focussing on solar/renewable energy to ensure the business remains sustainable and profitable.
  • Negotiating costs and contracts with external service providers.
  • Credit control for C I Property Holdings. Organising leases, diarising rent reviews/increases and being the first point of contact for all tenants.
  • Full time personal assistant to the Director. Aiding with diary management, communicating via telephone and email, keeping on top of current tasks and prompting where necessary, organising legal matters, carrying out research and taking initiative to assist wherever necessary
  • H&S tasks and management including water testing and hot tub pathology paperwork/ management
  • Insurance management of all companies
  • Have a thorough understanding of the holiday park booking package, all third party booking agencies & high level of customer service

Potential applicant will be working alongside the Holiday Park & Property Manager and will mainly be accounts/ office based. Very interesting & varied role. Working from a beautiful office with panoramic field views of Weeton countryside.
