Assistant Marketing Manager

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned B2B Marketing Executive to elevate your career to an Assistant Marketing Manager position. Working within a small team, your role will be varied and diverse, so it’s important that you’re confident working at pace and have a drive to get stuck into new challenges.

As the Assistant Marketing Manager, you’ll play an integral part in supporting the Marketing team to maximise their marketing activities and support the growth plans for 2024 and beyond.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Location: Based in Derby, 2 days WFH

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop integrated B2B & B2B communication plans
• Manage the social media channels to push key brands into the marketplace
• Act as the lead contact responsible for the planning and implementation of brand and retail executions
• Support sales with the development of B2B and B2C messages
• Cultivate relationships with journalists and maximise coverage for our brands through traditional and digital media
• Build and manage the social influencers to drive brand exposure, supporting the growth of key brands
• Manage the budget process across Marketing, including forecasting, PO management and monitoring spend
• Managing contract negotiations
• Develop POS solutions, promotional merchandise, and catalogues to support dealers
• Always looking at continuous improvement methods

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in a product marketing role is crucial for this role
• Experience in B2B brand marketing
• Superb verbal and written communication skills
• You must be disciplined and able to manage your workload
• Confident working at a pace
• Skilled at leading and supporting team members through mentoring and management
