A leading Essex Restaurant is now recruiting for a highly experienced Assistant Manager to join their prestigious venue. This amazing Gastro Pub is extremely elegant and stylish and is known for their award winning food, exceptional service and a team that exceeds every guest's expectations.

You will be working alongside the General Manager and together working as a team you will take this restaurant to the next level. You must be keen to share your wealth of knowledge through training and guidance of staff as well as the general duties that come with this position.

As an Assistant Manager you will have 2- 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a high-end establishment, ideally with good wine & bar knowledge, you will need a passion for perfection in your work, stamina for hard work, and above all excellent communication skills, determination and commitment.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supervising, training staff, effectively communicating with both front & back of house and being a real hands on team player. As Assistant Manager you will be a hands on professional that is capable of building strong relationships with both staff and guests.

As Assistant Manager you will:

• Lead, train and motivate staff
• Work closely with the management team and Head Chef
• Deputise in the absence of the General Manager and Bar Manager
• Delivery of exceptional service at all times
• Ensure effective communication occurs throughout the team and between all departments.
