Assistant Manager - Jewellery Department

Profile:

  • Previous management retail experience ideally in the luxury goods
  • Ideally expertise in Jewellery & Watches & Silverware 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Outstanding sense of customer service, sense of initiative and commercial creativity with fashion sensitivity

Responsibilities:

  • Hold morning briefings and motivate the team to achieve the objectives
  • Working closely with the store director, and manage the department’s sales performance and service standards.
  • Assist with back-office operation, inbound & outbound deliveries, store activities & events, stock control, reports
  • Lead by example in client recruitment and development of client loyalty through CRM
  • To ensure that all staff are trained and know and follow the Company systems
  • To report all suspected shoplifters to Loss Prevention officers / and company procedures on security about theft
  • Ensure cash handling, credit authorisation, acceptance of cheques, arrangement of staff purchases, reporting of stock, cash, and lost prevention
  • To take part in training, evaluation, motivation and development of the staff
  • To communicate effectively to develop a stable team and a succession plan for your business

Offering:

  • Salary from £40,000 + Bonus
