Assistant Management Accountant

JHE & Partners are pleased to be working with a leading organisation in Halifax as they look to strengthen their finance function with the addition of an ambitious, motivated Assistant Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their accountancy career, looking to gain valuable experience in all aspects of Management Accounts, whilst receiving full study support to study AAT, CIMA or ACCA. This can be done as day release or in your own time.

Key duties will involve:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation and input of journals including accruals and prepayments
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Analysis of aged debtor and creditor reports
• Assist with external audit, VAT and other statutory requirements
• Many other ad hoc duties as required in a busy finance office
