Assistant Management Accountant
£32,000 - £35,000 + study support + hybrid working

Aila is excited to announce that it’s in an exclusive partnership with a leading Hospitality business based in Watford as we search for a bright and ambitious part-qualified candidate to join their team in this Assistant Management Accountant role.

We’re looking for a bright and ambitious graduate (or equivalent) with 1-2 years of experience in Finance who is now looking for a step up into a month-end role within a Global business. You will play a key role in supporting the production month-end management accounting packs as well as carrying out bank reconciliations as well as supporting the Financial Accountant and Controller with any adhoc project work as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing monthly P&Ls for the senior leadership team.
  • Supporting the audit process alongside the Financial Accountant.
  • Completing month-end tasks including accruals and prepayments.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely posting of weekly revenue.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting.
  • Ensuring all invoices received are correctly coded and authorised for payment.
  • Adhoc project work as required.

To be successful in this role, you will be a team player with a real commercial acumen and desire to add value within your role as well as a keenness to get as much exposure as possible within this incredibly varied and fast-paced role. You will be a Finance/Accounting graduate with 1-2 years’ grounding within industry and keen on a step up into a month-end role within a huge brand.
