This position as an Assistant Management Accountant is based in the not-for-profit sector.

Description

The key responsibilities of anAssistant Management Accountantwill include, but may not be limited to;

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Carry out financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Help manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Contribute to the development of internal control policies and procedures.
  • Support in the completion of year-end statutory accounts.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of the post.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • Not for Profit and Charities background.
  • Ability to commute to Bolton.
  • Part qualified Accountant with minimum of 2 years experience.
  • A formal qualification in accounting or finance, or working towards one.
  • Understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
