Assistant Management Accountant

Marc Daniels are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a Golf Club based in Wokingham. This role will be right for you if you are studying towards an accountancy qualification and looking to gain exposure to management accounting. This role is within a company that can offer progression and support to those looking to take the next steps in their accounting career.

This role is very hybrid (2 days a week in the office), offers study support and a host of other benefits and there can be some flexibility regarding the hours.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the Fixed Asset register
• Scheduling the prepayments
• Responsible for confirming prepayments
• Accruals based on PO system and utilities
• Income reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations ( Systems and Utilities)
• Review of Greenkeeping expenditures
• Other relevant balance sheet reconciliations and month end task
• Ad-hoc projects a directed by the financial controller.

Requirements:

• Part qualified ACA/ACCA/ CIMA
• Strong system skills able to learn, document and understand new systems quickly.
• Good excel ability.
• Strong communication skills
• Xero experience (Desirable)
