Assistant Management Accountant

Our client is seeking a highly organised assistant accountant to play a critical role in the growth of their fast-paced business, contributing to its overarching success. This full-time Assistant Management Accountant role is based in London and offers a salary of up to £45k and excellent benefits.

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in the growth of a fast-paced business, contributing to its overarching success.

In your first few weeks in this Assistant Management Accountant role, you can expect to:

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process
• Assist with the monthly variance analysis to compare against the budget and identify monthly trends
• Be accountable for monthly accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations
• Support Head of Finance and Operations with various areas in preparing year-end accounts for Group-related companies.

To apply, you will need one-two years of experience in a similar role. You will also require the following:

• AAT qualified/relevant degree or early stages of studying for CIMA / ACCA
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and data modelling
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to produce and analyse financial and statistical data
• Familiarity with use of MS Office Suite and Xero would be an advantage.
