Job Title: Assistant Accountant (transitioning to Management Accountant)

Salary: Up to £33k

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant who has experience with Payroll who is looking for their next role. We need a candidate who is ambitious and looking to progress as after 12-months in this role, you will progress into a Management Accountant Position.

Who will you be working for?

Our client are a global manufacturing business who are based in Rochdale. You will be working within a close-knit, supportive finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller.

What's the role?

For the first 12 months of your role, you'll be covering Assistant Accountant and Payroll duties, as follows:

• Assisting the Financial Controller with month-end duties, including accruals, prepayments, depreciations.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations,
• Monitoring of short-term cash flow,
• Supporting with Credit Control - monitoring and managing the accounts receivable ledger,
• Managing end-to-end payroll

What do I need?

In order to be suitable for this role, we'd be looking for someone who has previous experience working as an Assistant Accountant and with Payroll experience.

When and where will you be?

This role is based in Rochdale - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
