Assistant Management Accountant - Remote working

Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an amazing chain of companies and who are recruiting for an Assistant Management to join their team on a permanent basis. The role offers remote working with occasional travel in to the London head office, however the Financial Controller would like the candidate to live local to Sutton due to the location of other staff in order to meet up as a team when required. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and will have had exposure to balance sheet reconciliations to clear an initial backlog.

Main Duties:

• Assist with the preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts to regular deadlines.
• Prepare weekly KPI reports
• Prepare and post monthly prepayment, accrual journals
• Responsibility for prepayments, fixed assets and monthly accruals.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Review bank reconciliations and EPOS transactions
• Reconcile control accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts (multi-currency)Maintain fixed asset register
• Prepare intercompany invoices and journals
• Work aside the Financial Controller with ad hoc queries
