SF are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant based in Nottingham on a permanent basis. This is an outstanding company to work for that offer excellent opportunity for progression for the right candidate.

Salary up to £30,000 + Study Support
Half year and annual bonus - Based on performance
Hybrid working - 3 days working from home
Flexible working hours - Full time
25 holidays + bank holidays

Job duties:

Analysing a large volume of accounts day-to-day
Weekly and monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Combine data from different sources to produce company weekly margin reports to be presented to internal stakeholders.
Post journals including monthly accruals and prepayments into the accounting software (SAGE)
Calculate rebates for large variety of clients
Involvement in the preparation of monthly management accounts for review
Answer queries from internal stakeholders
Run monthly P&L for review ensuring efficient cost tracking
Strive to be constantly improving both personally and from a process perspective
Liaise with internal teams (such as Payroll, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control) to solve queries and provide accuracy of accounts at all times

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Early stages or Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Ambitious
Experience in Month - End duties and assisting with preparing Management Accounts
Good attention to detail
Team player
