The job:

Reporting to the Management Accountant, the purpose of this role is to assist in the

preparation of financial and target-focused reporting to internal stakeholders and providing supporting expense analysis for the UK and German businesses.

The responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Management Accountant in the preparation of the month and year end management accounts, year end statutory reporting and annual budgeting
  • Multi currency intercompany reconciliations and Intercompany recharging on a monthly basis
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Analysis of expense and balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation and input of month-end and periodic journals
  • Assisting in the production of VAT returns

The person will have;

  • ACCA/CIMA Part-Qualified or equivalent degree level education
  • 2 experience in accounting environment
  • Intermediate or Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience of balance sheet and control account reconciliations
  • Ability to work in a time pressured environment
  • Ability to communicate with finance and non-finance colleagues in a concise and understandable manner
