Assistant Financial Accountant

My client, a global service organisation, based in Staffordshire, is recruiting an Assistant Financial Accountant on a permanent basis, offering a salary of up to £28,000 per annum + full study support and an attractive bonus.

This role is perfect for a part qualified accountant, and will give an enormous amount of exposure in a global giant to board level. It is a great entry point into the business, with the opportunity to develop in a multi billion pound organisation.

You will be given the flexibility to work from home 2-3 times per week, and when in the office have access to their impressive gym and canteen!

The Assistant Financial Accountant will be given full responsibility to manage the accounting fixed asset process, updating leases, providing accounting advice to the business and reporting on EBITDA, and CapEx impacts of the lease changes.

• Support with forecasting and budgeting
• Liaise with internal departments to discuss actuals vs forecasts
• P&L rent expense reconciliations twice per year to be reviewed by CFO
• Support with the implementation of IFRS 16 (training provided)
• Liaise with external auditors supporting with query resolution

Who are you?

• Part qualified accountant - ACCA/ CIMA
• Working knowledge of Excel - pivots v look ups, ability to manipulate data
• High attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
