We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Finance Manager to support our vibrant Property team. This key role will manage financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance within the industry.

Our client is a well-established firm in the Property industry, boasting a sizeable team across multiple locations. They have a strong presence in Manchester, where they are recognised for delivering high-quality services and maintaining excellent relationships with their clients.

Description

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards within the Property industry.
  • Collaborate with Accounting & Finance department to forecast and manage budgeting processes.
  • Provide financial advice to the team to aid decision-making.
  • Participate in financial audits and implement recommended changes.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in the development of financial strategies and risk management.
  • Support the Finance Manager in other ad-hoc duties as required.

Profile

A successful Assistant Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial management and reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards within the Property industry.
  • Proficient skills in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
