What you'll do:

As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting Heads of Department and the Finance Business Partner in delivering complex management information. You will be responsible for assisting in managing ongoing pieces of work in a finance capacity, monitoring performance against financial projections, and preparing management accounts. Your ability to communicate effectively with non-finance team members will be essential in this role, as well as your ability to build strong relationships with other internal stakeholders.

* Work closely with and provide support to the Finance Business Partner and Head of Finance
* Assist Legal Teams by providing analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance
* Manage ongoing finance-related tasks, providing support to Legal Directors
* Monitor performance against financial projections
* Prepare management accounts and provide financial support to cost centres within the organisation
* Review monthly spend, identify potential savings, and support the Finance Business Partner when settling annual budgets

What you bring:

The ideal Assistant Finance Business Partner will bring a wealth of experience in management accounting and have advanced Excel skills. You are currently studying towards a CIMA qualification (minimum of Management Level required) and have strong attention to detail coupled with excellent analytical skills. Your ability to build relationships across all levels of the business will be key in this role. You thrive in working at pace with a desire to succeed and have proven experience working as part of a team.
